Dwight Scott is the Chairman of Blackstone Credit and Insurance (BXCI), based in New York.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Scott served as the Global Head of Blackstone Credit. Before joining Blackstone in 2005, Mr. Scott was an Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of El Paso Corporation. Prior to joining El Paso, Mr. Scott served as a Managing Director at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette.

Mr. Scott graduated from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and the University of Texas’ McCombs School of Business. Mr. Scott is a member of the Wall Street for McCombs Advisory Board, the UNC Hussman Foundation Board, UNC Chapel Hill Board of Visitors and the Trout Unlimited Board.
