Blackstone’s Corporate Debt Group Adds New Hires


New York/London; January 17, 2006. The Blackstone Group today announced that Roger Coyle, formerly Director of Leveraged Finance at Fitch Ratings, and Graham Martin, formerly Director in the Sub-Investment Grade Group at MetLife, have joined Blackstone’s Corporate Debt Group in London as Senior Analysts. The team is headed by Managing Director, Debra Anderson, who joined Blackstone in September 2005.

As Director of Leveraged Finance at Fitch Ratings, Roger Coyle was responsible for Fitch’s public and private ratings of European sub-investment grade issuers. Prior to that he worked in JP Morgan’s TMT Leveraged Finance Group. As Director of Leveraged Bank Loans at MetLife, Graham Martin, was responsible for investing in leveraged bank loans, mezzanine, high yield and private equity co-investments. Prior to that he worked in the Abbey National Treasury Services in a variety of credit roles, including the leveraged credit team.

Blackstone’s Corporate Debt Group maintains offices in New York and London with 28 professionals, five of which are based in London.
