Jillian Fitzpatrick is Managing Director of Government Relations for Blackstone. She helps navigate political, legislative, and regulatory risk for the firm and provides advice to portfolio companies on related matters.

Before joining Blackstone, Ms. Fitzpatrick was Head of Global Policy for S&P Global. She previously served as Senior Policy Advisor to U.S. Senator Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota and Minority Staff Director for the Banking Subcommittee on National Security and International Trade and Finance. She also served as Policy Director and Transition Director for U.S. Senator Tim Kaine (D-VA) and as Economic Policy Advisor for Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT). During the development and passage of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, Jillian worked for Rep. Dan Maffei (D-NY-25) on the House Financial Services Committee.

Jillian is currently co-chair of the Duke University Politics and Policy Network. She holds a BA from Duke University in Durham, NC and an MA from the George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
