Robert Young is a Senior Vice President in the Legal and Compliance Department. Mr. Young is involved in legal and compliance matters for Blackstone’s Insurance Solutions, Treasury Solutions and Private Wealth Solutions businesses. Before joining Blackstone in 2015, Mr. Young practiced in the Investment Funds, Advisers and Derivatives group at Sidley Austin LLP. Mr. Young began his career as an Associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP, specializing in hedge funds and private equity funds. Mr. Young received a BA magna cum laude from the University of Nevada Las Vegas and a JD from Harvard Law School.
