Keary Parinis is a Vice President in GSO Capital Partners and leads the valuation process for distressed debt and upstream oil & gas investments.

Before joining Blackstone in 2018, Mr. Parinis was a Vice President at Anchorage Capital Group and worked on valuations in oil & gas, real estate, technology, distressed debt and reorganization equity. Mr. Parinis also automated workflow processes with machine learning, database applications and data visualization software. Before joining Anchorage, Mr. Parinis managed the valuation process at Kohlberg & Company and worked in PricewaterhouseCooper’s Transaction Services Valuation group. Prior to that Mr. Parinis was a defense and technology consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton and served in the U.S. Army.

Mr. Parinis received a BS in Computer Science from University of Maryland, MS in Information Technology from Virginia Tech (Phi Kappa Phi honor society) and MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
