Philip Sherrill is the Global Head of Insurance for Blackstone Credit and Insurance (BXCI) based in New York. In this capacity, he is responsible for all aspects of the insurance business globally, overseeing client relationships and new partnerships, clients' portfolio management and asset allocation, and insurance-related regulatory affairs. Mr. Sherrill also sits on the BXCI Global Investment Committee.

Prior to joining Blackstone in 2025, Mr. Sherrill was Chief Strategy Officer at Global Atlantic Financial Group, leading corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and several investment, liability, new business, and other operating functions. Mr. Sherrill worked at Goldman Sachs, prior to Global Atlantic’s separation from Goldman Sachs.

Mr. Sherrill holds an AB in Social Studies from Harvard College.
