Katsumi Takagaki is a Managing Director in the Discretionary Investment Management Group in Japan.

Before joining Blackstone, Mr. Takagaki served as General Manager of Product Development at Aozora Investment Management. Prior to that, he was Director of the Fund Business Division at Mizuho Securities. Mr. Takagaki began his career at Sumitomo Trust and Banking in 1990 and led the investment advisory team at Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Hong Kong for 14 years between 2001 and 2015.

Mr. Takagaki holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Commerce from Keio University.
