Jack Pitts is a Senior Managing Director and Global Chief Operating Officer of Blackstone Legal & Compliance, based in New York. Previously, Mr. Pitts served as General Counsel of Blackstone Multi-Asset Investing.

Before joining Blackstone in 2012, Mr. Pitts was an Associate at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP where he focused on advising sponsors of and institutional investors in private investment funds. Mr. Pitts serves on the Blackstone Charitable Foundation Board of Directors and an Executive Sponsor of the Blackstone Diverse Professionals Network. He also serves on the Board of Trustees for Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and is the Vice Chair of the YMCA of Montclair Board of Directors.

Mr. Pitts received a BS in Financial Management from Hillsdale College and a JD from Howard University School of Law, where he served as the Managing Editor of the Howard Law Journal.
