David Muhlenkamp is a Managing Director in the Asset Management group for Blackstone Credit and Insurance (BXCI) based in New York. He manages restructurings and subsequent company turnarounds.

Prior to joining Blackstone in 2024, Mr. Muhlenkamp had a nearly 20-year career in investment banking and private equity, primarily with The Jordan Company. He began his career serving as an Army cavalry officer in Bosnia-Herzegovina and Iraq.

Mr. Muhlenkamp holds a bachelor’s degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point and an MBA from Harvard Business School.  Mr. Muhlenkamp serves on the boards of SEKO Logistics and Alacrity, and the Board of Trustees for The Hudson School in Hoboken, New Jersey.
