New York: The Blackstone Group, a private investment bank with offices in New York and London, together with its 400-plus employees through a matching donations scheme, has contributed a total of $1 million to a variety of funds that provide relief to those people impacted by the September 11th terrorist attacks.
The recipients include the American Red Cross, the Feed the Children New York Disaster Relief Fund, the New York Times 9/11 Neediest Fund, the New York Firefighters 9/11 Fund, the New York State Police WTC Fund, the Realtors Housing Relief Fund, the Robin Hood Foundation, the September 11th Fund, the Twin Towers Fund, and several others.
