Ruth Sharry is a Managing Director in Blackstone’s Global Tax Group based in London. She co leads the EMEA Tax function, with responsibility for tax policy, planning, reporting and compliance across the region.
Prior to joining Blackstone in 2011, Ms. Sharry was a Director in the International Tax Group at PricewaterhouseCoopers in New York. Before that, she was a Senior Manager in the Mergers & Acquisition Tax Group at PricewaterhouseCoopers London, where she specialized in the tax structuring of private equity investments across Europe and Asia.
Ms. Sharry holds a Bachelor of Commerce from The University of Melbourne. She is a member of the Australian Institute of Chartered Accountants and a US Certified Public Accountant.
