Mukesh Mehta is a Senior Managing Director in the Private Equity Group and is based in Mumbai. Since joining Blackstone in 2016, Mr. Mehta has been involved in Blackstone’s investments in IGI, R Systems, VFS Global, PGP Glass, Aadhar, Simplilearn, Xpressbees and TaskUS Inc where he also serves as a Director on the boards.

Before joining Blackstone, Mr. Mehta worked as a Vice President with The Carlyle Group in their Private Equity division. During his 10–year stint at Carlyle he was involved in several transactions, including investments in SBI Cards, HDFC, IIFL and PNBHF. Prior to Carlyle he worked in the Investment Banking Division at Citigroup and the Assurance & Business Advisory Group at PwC.

Mr. Mehta is a Chartered Accountant, with a Master’s Degree in Commerce from Mumbai University. He has also completed CFA (AIMR-USA).
