Florian Hager is a Senior Managing Director in Blackstone Credit and Insurance (BXCI) based in London. He is the Chief Investment Officer for Private Credit in Europe and Head of European Asset Management. Prior to his current role, Mr. Hager originated, executed, and advised on investments across the capital structure. Before joining BXCI, Mr. Hager was a member of Blackstone’s Restructuring & Reorganization Group.
Prior to joining Blackstone in 2012, Mr. Hager worked in the Investment Banking divisions of Lehman Brothers and Nomura in London.
Mr. Hager graduated from the Vienna University of Economics and Business and holds an MBA with Honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
