Managing Director
Evan Middleton is a Managing Director in the Tactical Opportunities Group, where he focuses on executing transactions in the industrials and business services verticals.
Since joining Blackstone, Mr. Middleton has led or been involved in Blackstone’s investments in CI Financial, LifeScience Logistics, Salas O'Brien, Sustana, and Trimark. Mr. Middleton has previously served on the boards of numerous companies in a broad range of industries, including AFG Holdings, Basin Holdings, Engineered Solutions and Products, Liberty Tire, NORDAM Group, and Prime Clerk, among others.
Before joining Blackstone, Mr. Middleton was at The Carlyle Group, most recently as a Partner and Co-Head of North America for Carlyle Strategic Partners, where he led numerous investments including control, minority, and structured equity transactions across a broad range of industries. Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Middleton was with American Securities and Evercore Partners, and he began his career at Bowles Hollowell Conner.
Mr. Middleton received a BS in mathematics and economics, with a minor in Japanese language, from the University of Virginia.
