Increasing representation of women at Blackstone is critical to this mission – it fosters diversity of opinion, reflects the world we invest in and creates new ways for us to challenge the status quo.
As a firm, we recognized we needed to think holistically about this change – creating a pipeline of initiatives for women from college recruitment, to early career development, to employee retention, and finally to portfolio company transformation. And our initiatives needed be uniquely Blackstone – founded on entrepreneurial thinking, collaborative efforts and a commitment to excellence.
