Brett Newman is a Senior Managing Director and the Chief Financial Officer for Blackstone Real Estate. Since joining Blackstone in 2007, Mr. Newman has held several roles across the firm, including Global Head of Real Estate Institutional Client Solutions. He also worked in Blackstone’s former M&A investment banking business, where he advised clients in the investment management and insurance industries while executing corporate development initiatives on behalf of Blackstone.

Before joining Blackstone, Mr. Newman worked in the transaction and assurance advisory practices of PwC.

Mr. Newman received an MBA with high honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and a degree in finance and accounting from Bowling Green State University.
