Sr. Managing Director
Vishal Amin is a Senior Managing Director in Blackstone N1 (BXN1), Blackstone’s unified platform for growth, hybrid, and perpetual private equity investing across the AI ecosystem and the next generation of high growth companies. Since joining Blackstone in 2018, he has been involved in the execution of the firm’s investments in Advanced Digital Gaming Technology (ADGT), Applecart, Anthropic, Bumble, Clari, Cyera, Databricks, Datadog, Episerver, NetBrain, Open AI, Orix Growth Capital, Snowflake, and Zoom.
Prior to joining Blackstone, Mr. Amin was a Partner at Andreessen Horowitz where he led growth investing and capital execution across enterprise software, consumer internet, financial technology, and healthcare. During his tenure at the firm, he led execution on later stage investments such as Opendoor, Yubico, Databricks, HealthIQ, Transferwise, Cross River Bank and Accolade. Before joining Andreessen Horowitz, Mr. Amin was at TCV where he spent time focusing on enterprise software, healthcare, and business services. Before this role, he spent several years within the investment banking group at Allen Company.
Mr. Amin holds a BA in Public Policy Studies with a Certificate in Health Policy from Duke University and attended the Fuqua School of Business. He also completed the Back End Web Development course at General Assembly. Before entering finance, he spent a number of years in the field of Bioethics/Neuroethics, primarily researching implications associated with new brain technologies.
