David Schwartz

David Schwartz is a Senior Managing Director and Head of Acquisitions for Blackstone Private Equity Strategies (BXPE), where he also leads coverage of investments in the technology and tech-enabled services sectors.

Mr. Schwartz joined Blackstone in 2022. He currently serves on the board of Cvent and is a Board Observer for Assent and Navex Global, and was also involved in the firm's investments in Entrata, Energy Exemplar, and AIR Control Concepts.

Before joining Blackstone, Mr. Schwartz spent nearly 14 years at Harvest Partners, most recently as a Partner, where he launched and led the firm’s software investing vertical. During his tenure, he also invested across the business services, energy and franchising sectors. Mr. Schwartz began his career in JPMorgan's Investment Banking group.

Mr. Schwartz earned a bachelor’s degree with distinction from the Ross School of Business at University of Michigan and an MBA from Columbia Business School. He currently serves on the board of Urban Dove, a network of high schools serving under-credited students.
