Lauren Sohmer is a Senior Managing Director and Head of Human Resources for Blackstone Credit and Insurance (BXCI), based in New York.
Before joining Blackstone in 2025, Ms. Sohmer was a Partner and the Global Head of HR Business Partners at Ares Management based in London and New York. Prior to that, she held a variety of senior HR roles at Cerberus Capital Management and J.P. Morgan.
Ms. Sohmer received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The Ohio State University.
