Gabrielle Karnes is a Managing Director in the Real Estate Group at Blackstone. She currently focuses on strategy for Blackstone Property Partners U.S., one of Blackstone’s U.S. Core+ vehicles.

Since joining Blackstone in 2013, Ms. Karnes focused on new investment opportunities in North America with a particular focus on the retail sector. She also worked on real estate investments across several other property sectors including the acquisition of GE Capital’s real estate business and the recapitalization of BioMed Realty.

Ms. Karnes received a BA in Mathematics and Economics with a minor in Political Science from Northwestern University, where she graduated cum laude, and received an MBA from Harvard Business School.
