Lord Petitgas is Vice Chairman of Europe and a Senior Managing Director of the Firm.
He spent 30 years at Morgan Stanley where he was Co-Head of Global Investment Banking and latterly Head of Morgan Stanley International. He was a member of the Firm’s Operating and Management Committees. In April 2023, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak appointed him as his Adviser on Business and Investment.
He is a member of the House of Lords and sits on the Economic Affairs Committee.
Lord Petitgas is Deputy Chair of the Courtauld Institute of Art and serves on the board of the Goodwood Art Foundation. He is the President of the U.K. Chapter of the French Légion d’Honneur.
He received a Master’s degree from École Supérieure de Commerce de Paris.
