Eric Young is a Managing Director on the Blackstone Operating Team. He is the lead Operating Executive in the Americas for the Tactical Opportunities Group.
Before joining Blackstone, Mr. Young led a portfolio of manufacturing businesses at Filtration Group as Group President, Specialty Technologies. Previously, he led MRO distribution and manufacturing businesses at AAR, a diversified aerospace and defense services provider. Earlier in his career, Mr. Young held M&A and strategy roles at Paine Schwartz Partners, Goldman Sachs, and L.E.K. Consulting.
Mr. Young received a BS in Industrial Engineering from Northwestern University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
