Managing Director
Daniel Kong is a Managing Director in the Infrastructure Group. Since joining Blackstone, Mr. Kong has been involved in the execution of Blackstone’s investments in Carrix, Safe Harbor Marinas, Hotwire Communications, and Northern Indiana Public Service Company (NIPSCO). Mr. Kong serves on the Board of Directors at Carrix, Safe Harbor Marinas, and NIPSCO.
Prior to joining Blackstone, Mr. Kong worked in investing roles at BC Partners and Hudson Executive Partners where he focused primarily on private equity and public investments in the telecom and consumer sectors. Mr. Kong began his career at Citi, where he was an Analyst in the Technology, Media, and Telecom Investment Banking group.
Mr. Kong received a BS in Applied Economics and Management (concentration in finance) from Cornell University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and as a Dyson Scholar.
