Carlos Whitaker is a Senior Managing Director and the President of Blackstone Private Credit Fund (BCRED) and Blackstone Secured Lending Fund (BXSL) in Blackstone Credit and Insurance (BXCI) based in New York.

Before joining Blackstone, Mr. Whitaker had a 21-year career at Credit Suisse where he was a Managing Director and senior executive in the Global Markets division.

Mr. Whitaker received a Bachelor of Arts from the Plan II Honors Program, a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, and a Master of Professional Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin, where he graduated with honors. Mr. Whitaker is a member of the McCombs School of Business Advisory Council at the University of Texas at Austin. He also sits on the boards of New York for McCombs and Rising Stars Capital Management, which is a nonprofit focused on improving diversity in the finance industry.
