SEOUL – July 20, 2026 – Blackstone (NYSE:BX) announced today that private equity funds affiliated with Blackstone (“Blackstone”) have entered into a definitive agreement to make a significant investment in FUTRONIC (“FUTRONIC” or “the Company”), a leading supplier of high-precision actuators serving the global automotive and industrial robotics industries. This transaction is in partnership with FUTRONIC’s Founder, Jin-ho Ko, who will remain in his role as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer and work with Blackstone to accelerate the Company’s global growth and end-market expansion.
Founded in 1993, FUTRONIC has successfully evolved into a trusted R&D and supply chain partner for many of the world’s most recognized automotive OEM platforms and their networks. Today, it plays a critical role in early-stage engineering with its customers across broader mobility end-markets, including humanoids and general robotics. With primary operations in Korea and the United States, the Company continues to actively expand its international footprint.
