Managing Director
Brian Schaper is a Managing Director and EMEA Chief Operating Officer for Blackstone Private Wealth, based in London. Prior to this role, Mr. Schaper was Deputy COO within Blackstone's Institutional Client Solutions group focusing on strategy and management of capital raising activities across Europe.
Prior to joining Blackstone, Mr. Schaper worked at Nuveen where he had a number of roles in Chicago and London – most recently within the Global Client Group focusing on management of the European and Asia Pacific client regions. Prior to that, Mr. Schaper was in KPMG's Assurance group focusing on the asset management industry.
Mr. Schaper received a B.S. and M.S. in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and holds the CPA designation.
