Managing Director
Ben Hotz is a Managing Director in Blackstone N1 (BXN1), the firm's unified platform for growth, hybrid, and perpetual private equity investing across the AI ecosystem and the next generation of high growth companies. Since joining Blackstone in 2023, he has been involved in the execution of the firm’s investments in VaxCare and OpenEvidence.
Prior to joining Blackstone, Mr. Hotz was a Principal at Bain Capital where he was involved in the execution of investments into numerous growth-stage enterprise software and healthcare IT companies, including providers of specialty electronic medical records, pharma software & services, and supply chain & logistics automation. Before joining Bain, Mr. Hotz began his investing career at Vista Equity Partners and Apax Partners where he focused on software, healthcare technology, and tech-enabled services.
Mr. Hotz earned his BS in Mechanical Engineering and BS in Integrated Business & Engineering from Lehigh University.
