Ben Hotz is a Managing Director in Blackstone Growth (BXG) where he focuses on investments in the Healthcare sector. Since joining Blackstone, he has been involved in the execution of the firm’s investments into VaxCare and OpenEvidence.
Prior to joining Blackstone in 2023, Mr. Hotz was a Principal at Bain Capital where he was involved in the execution of investments into numerous growth-stage enterprise software and healthcare IT companies, including providers of specialty electronic medical records, pharma software & services, and supply chain & logistics automation. Before joining Bain, Mr. Hotz began his investing career at Vista Equity Partners and Apax Partners where he focused on software, healthcare technology, and tech-enabled services.
Mr. Hotz earned his BS in Mechanical Engineering and BS in Integrated Business & Engineering from Lehigh University.
