Ian Booth is a Managing Director and EMEA Head of Operations for Blackstone Credit and Insurance (BXCI) based in London.

Prior to joining Blackstone in 2025, Mr. Booth worked at Citigroup as a Managing Director in Institutional Credit Management where he was the EMEA Head for the wholesale lending middle office. Before that, he held various roles across Deutsche Bank in London and Singapore, including in product control, active credit portfolio management and serving as the Global Chief Financial Officer and Global Chief Administrative Officer for the Risk division. He began his career in Australia practicing as a Chartered Accountant.

Mr. Booth received a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Adelaide and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
