Chairman
Yung-ku Ha is a Chairman and Representative Director of Blackstone Advisors Korea Limited. He focuses on Blackstone’s investment and investor relations business in Korea.
Before joining Blackstone, Mr. Ha worked at Kim & Chang, where he advised on a broad range of financial matters, including foreign investment and corporate governance. From 2014 to 2017, he served as Chairman of the Korea Federation of Banks, during which time he contributed to the development of Korea’s banking and financial industries by proposing financial policies and addressing key industry challenges. Mr. Ha began his career at Citibank in 1981 and spent 33 years in the financial industry. He served as Chairman and CEO of KorAm Bank, and later as CEO of Citibank Korea and Chairman of Citigroup Korea, where he oversaw business franchise including Citi Global Markets Korea (CGMK) and Citi Financial Korea. He has previously served as a member of the Financial Regulatory Innovation Committee under the Financial Services Commission, Chairman of the Board of Directors of SK Hynix, as well as Chairman of Board of Directors of Mirae Asset Global Investments.
He received a BA in Economics from Seoul National University and received his MBA from Kellogg School.
