The Blackstone Charitable Foundation is committed to supporting communities where we work and live. We apply our intellectual and financial capital to contribute to the success of a range of projects and organizations that are innovative in their approach to improving the economic and social conditions of communities in need.
The Blackstone Entrepreneurship Initiative
The Blackstone Charitable Foundation was created in 2007 with substantial commitments from the firm’s employees. Influenced by the urgent need for job growth in the United States in the wake of the global economic collapse and in keeping with the enterprising heritage of the firm and its founders, the Foundation changed its mission and committed $50 million to fostering entrepreneurship.
Blackstone’s investment and advisory expertise across asset classes, geographies and economic cycles has contributed to a heightened awareness of how entrepreneurial activity is often the crucial catalyst in the growth of successful businesses, industries and communities.
