Ruth Sharry is a Managing Director in the Tax Group. Since joining Blackstone, Ms. Sharry has been involved in the development and implementation of international tax initiatives for the firm and is responsible for the firm’s international tax compliance and reporting.

Before joining Blackstone in 2011, Ms. Sharry worked as a Director in the International Tax Group at PricewaterhouseCoopers in New York. Prior to that, she was a Senior Manager in the Mergers & Acquisition Tax Group at PricewaterhouseCoopers London and specialized in the tax structuring of private equity investments throughout Europe and Asia.

Ms. Sharry received a Bachelor of Commerce from The University of Melbourne. She is a member of the Australian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
