Blackstone Top Ranked Private Equity Firm in the UK 2012 League Table of Energy Efficient Companies

Blackstone was the top ranked Private Equity firm by the UK Environment Agency in the 2012 League Table of Energy Efficient Companies. Furthermore, two Blackstone portfolio companies, Tragus and CenterParcs, were also ranked in the top decile of all companies in the UK.  

In total, 2100 companies were scored based on measures they have taken to reduce energy consumption, including installing Automatic Metering Systems, accrediting their energy management programs, and reducing emissions relative to business growth. In addition to a reduction in carbon emissions, these efforts have helped our companies lower their energy bills.
