Song Liu is a Managing Director with GSO Capital Partners. Since joining GSO Capital, Mr. Liu has been involved with Application Development and IT Support for the GSO hedge fund platform. Before joining Blackstone in 2007, Mr. Liu was a senior manager at Sungard Consulting Service and was involved in the design and implementation of trading and risk management systems for investment banks. Prior to that, Mr. Liu worked as an Assistant Vice President at the Alternative Capital Division of Credit Suisse Group. Mr. Liu started his career at Software House International, a software reseller/integrator. Mr. Liu received a BS of Electrical Engineering from Tsinghua University in Beijing, China, and an MS in Biomedical Engineering from Rutgers University.
