Christopher Whalen

Vice President

Mr. Whalen is Vice President and Controller of Treasury at Blackstone. In this role, Mr. Whalen is responsible for accounting and finance oversight of working capital management, AR and strategic Treasury initiatives.

 

Prior to joining Blackstone, Mr. Whalen served as Vice President and Controller of Alternative Investment Solutions and Tax Advantage Investments at State Street Corporation. Previously Mr. Whalen was Vice President of Capital Markets Accounting at State Street and had formerly worked for JP Morgan and State Street Global Advisors.

 

Mr. Whalen graduated from Bentley University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He also holds an MSA from Suffolk University and an MBA from Cornell University.
