Albert R. Chen is a Vice President in the Legal and Compliance Department. Mr. Chen is involved in legal and compliance matters for Blackstone’s Insurance Solutions business.

Before joining Blackstone in 2018, Mr. Chen was a Compliance Director for Brookfield Asset Management. Prior to Brookfield, Mr. Chen practiced in the Investment Funds groups at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP and Dechert LLP. Mr. Chen began his career as an Associate at Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP.

Mr. Chen received a BA from McMaster University, an MA from Columbia University and an LLB from the McGill University Law School Faculty of Law. He serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Immigration Equality.
