Shomit Dey is a Senior Vice President in the Real Estate Group, based in London. Mr. Dey is responsible for tax advisory and compliance matters for the European investments of the Blackstone Real Estate funds. Before joining Blackstone in 2012, Mr. Dey worked in the Real Estate team at Deloitte and specialized in the tax advisory of international real estate funds and investments. Prior to that, Mr. Dey worked in the Structured Capital Markets team at Barclays Capital. Mr. Dey received an MA in Mathematics from Trinity College, University of Cambridge and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales.
