John Tierney is a Principal at Blackstone and member of the National Accounts team within Private Wealth Solutions. In this role, Mr. Tierney has relationship management responsibilities covering Blackstone’s partners across wirehouses, private banks, and regional broker-dealers.

Prior to this role, Mr. Tierney was the head of the Internal Sales and Service Desk for Private Wealth Solutions. In 2015, Mr. Tierney relocated to the Blackstone Private Wealth Solutions London office to help build out Blackstone’s partnership with European and Asian wealth management firms and returned in 2017. Mr. Tierney is a member of the Blackstone Charitable Foundation Leadership Council and is an active supporter of his group’s and team members’ philanthropic efforts. Before joining Blackstone in 2011, Mr. Tierney worked for UBS Wealth Management.

Mr. Tierney received a BA in Business Administration from Carroll College in Helena, Montana.
