Mr. Cunningham is a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager of the structured credit strategies focusing on investment grade assets in Blackstone Credit’s Liquid Credit Strategies (“LCS”) unit. He also sits on the Global Structured Credit Investment Committee.

Prior to joining Blackstone Credit, then known as GSO Capital Partners, in 2019 Mr. Cunningham worked at Blackstone Insurance Solutions, overseeing investment grade portfolio management activities. Prior to that, Mr. Cunningham was a vice president of portfolio management for Fidelity & Guaranty Life, where he managed public and private fixed income assets. Before joining Fidelity & Guaranty in 2011, Mr. Cunningham was co-head of fixed income investments for Assurant and a vice president with Prudential Financial’s high yield mutual fund group.

Mr. Cunningham received a B.A. in History from Cornell University and an M.B.A. in Finance from Fordham University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the Baltimore CFA Society.
