Sebastian Grasso is a Managing Director of the Hedge Fund Solutions Group.  Mr. Grasso is involved with tax planning and tax compliance matters for the group and its funds. 

Prior to joining Blackstone in 2014, Mr. Grasso was a Senior Manager in KPMG’s Mergers and Acquisitions Tax Practice where he specialized in the use of partnerships and limited liability companies in domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, financing transactions, and restructurings. 

Mr. Grasso received a BA in Philosophy and Communications and Media Studies from Fordham University, a JD from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School at Western Michigan University, and an LLM in Taxation from New York Law School.
