Brijesh K. Kalaria is a Vice President in the Private Equity Finance Group. Since joining Blackstone, Mr. Kalaria has been involved in administrative, accounting and financial reporting matters for Blackstone’s private equity funds. Before joining Blackstone in 2011, Mr. Kalaria was a Vice President at Credit Suisse, where he was primarily involved in financial, accounting and reporting functions for its Strategic Partners Funds, a secondary fund-of-funds. Prior to that Mr. Kalaria held a number of positions, including Chief Financial Officer at Blue Capital Management, L.L.C., a small private equity firm, Senior Accountant at Blackstone, primarily working on the side-by-side funds, and Mutual Fund Accountant at Morgan Stanley, Dean Witter, Discover & Co. Mr. Kalaria received a B.S., in accounting from The University of Illinois at Chicago.
