Blackstone Employees Volunteer with New York Cares and the Riverside Park Conservancy

Last weekend 65 Blackstone employees from across the firm volunteered with New York Cares and the Riverside Park Conservancy to help clean-up and revitalize New York’s Riverside Park. Despite the rain, the Blackstone team quickly got to work and exceeded expectation. In total, the team cleared out 5,100 square feet of the park, removed 20 bags of debris, and installed 75 plants.

In addition to the Blackstone Volunteer Day in New York, Blackstone employees from our Boston, Chicago, Dublin, Hong Kong, London, Mumbai, Singapore, San Francisco/Menlo Park and Tokyo offices are also participating in volunteer days across the firm in support of the 3rd Annual Global Volunteer Day.

In conjunction with Blackstone’s participation in the project, the Blackstone Charitable Foundation made a $25,000 grant to New York Cares. To learn more about work of the Blackstone Charitable Foundation, please click
