Apurva Shah is a Managing Director in Blackstone Credit & Insurance (BXCI) based in Mumbai. Mr. Shah focuses on the origination, execution, and management of credit investments across the capital structure in India.
Prior to joining Blackstone in 2025, Mr. Shah spent more than 26 years in leveraged finance, securitisatizations, structuring, M&A advisory, and capital markets holding senior roles at Deutsche Bank, Citigroup, Merrill Lynch, and Dresdner Kleinwort.
Mr. Shah received a Bachelors degree in Commerce from Mumbai university and is a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
