Tia Breakley is a Managing Director of the Hedge Fund Solutions Group.

Since joining Blackstone, Ms. Breakley has been involved in the legal structuring of the group's multi-manager portfolios as well as the review, analysis and negotiation of underlying hedge fund manager investments.

Before joining Blackstone in 2007, Ms. Breakley worked as Counsel in the Private Investment Funds Group at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP. Prior to that, Ms. Breakley was an associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, where she worked on various matters including, private investment fund formations, joint ventures and mergers & acquisitions.

Ms. Breakley received a JD from Columbia Law School and a BA from the University of Virginia.
