Sean Gelb is a Senior Vice President in the Private Equity and Tactical Opportunity Groups.

Since joining Blackstone, Mr. Gelb has been involved in administrative, accounting, tax and financial reporting matters for Blackstone's private equity and tactical opportunity funds.

Mr. Gelb has over 15 years’ experience in financial services accounting and administration focusing primarily on private equity and hedge funds. Prior to joining the Blackstone Group, Mr. Gelb was Vice President with SS&C Technologies.  Prior to SS&C Technologies Mr. Gelb was a Partner in the administration firm Northport LLC and served as an accountant in the auditing practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers and Eisner, LLP. 

Mr. Gelb received a B.S. in Accounting from Binghamton University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
