Salvatore Paxia is a Managing Director of the Hedge Fund Solutions Group.

Since joining Blackstone, Mr. Paxia has been involved in the design and development of the Hedge Fund Solutions Group’s proprietary software systems. Before joining Blackstone in 2008, Mr. Paxia worked as a Research Scientist at the NYU Center for Advanced Technology, and as a Sr. Research Scientist in the Bioinformatics Group, Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences.

Mr. Paxia received a MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Catania, Italy, and MS and Ph.D. in Computer Science from New York University.
