Since joining Blackstone, Mr. Cohen has been involved in the design and development of the group’s proprietary software systems, which support all aspects of the department’s operations.

Before joining Blackstone in 2007, Mr. Cohen served the Hedge Fund Solutions Group as a consultant for four years. Prior to that, he worked as a Vice President for Lewco Securities, managing the team of developers that supported the systems handling the firm’s back office operations.

Mr. Cohen received a BA in Linguistics from Harvard College, where he graduated cum laude. Mr. Cohen also pursued graduate studies in Piano and Composition at Manhattan School of Music. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
