Maurice Lévy is a Member of the International Advisory Board.  Mr. Lévy is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Publicis Groupe, a leading worldwide communications organization.

Publicis Groupe's businesses include three leading advertising networks (Saatchi & Saatchi, Leo Burnett and Publicis), two leading global media agencies (Starcom MediaVest Group and ZenithOptimedia), two leading digital agencies (Razorfish and Digitas) and numerous marketing services companies, including Digitas, a leading online communications company, and a strategic link with Japan’s Dentsu. 

Mr. Lévy holds the distinctions of “Commandeur” of the French Légion d’Honneur and “Grand Officier” of the Ordre National du Mérite.  He is a past President of the Jury of the Cannes Advertising Film Festival, served on the French Government Commission to combat Drug Addiction, and was a member of the Advisory Committee of the Banque de France. He is on the Board of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. Since 2002, he has served as Co-Chair of the French-American Business Council.  He is also a member of the International Advisory Board of The Council on Foreign Relations in New York and the World Economic Forum Foundation Board in Geneva, and has been on the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Bank since June 2006.  Since 2005 he has been in a personal capacity a co-founder and administrator of the ICM (Institute for Cerebral and Medullary Disorders) and President of the Association of Friends of the ICM.

Mr. Lévy received the Benjamin Franklin Award from the French American Foundation in both  2004 and 2008, and also in 2004 the Scopus Award from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.  In January 2008 he was honored with the International Leadership Award by the ADL (Anti-Defamation League) in New York for his commitment to promoting tolerance and diversity.  Also 2008, he was named “Communication Man of the Year” by the Delaney Report and the prestigious French awards show, Le Grand Prix des Agences de L’Année. And in 2009, Institutional Investor Magazine named him Europe’s Best CEO in the media industry.

In 2006, Mr. Lévy was asked by French Finance Minister Thierry Breton to chair the Commission on the Intangible Economy, which delivered its findings and recommendations in November 2006.
