Louis-Simon Ferland is a Principal in the Real Estate Group and is based in London.

Since joining Blackstone in 2010, Mr. Ferland has been involved in evaluating real estate investments in several property types throughout Europe.

Before joining Blackstone, Mr. Ferland was an Associate at Merrill Lynch Global Principal Investments where he was involved in a variety of real estate acquisitions, primarily in Central and Eastern Europe.  Prior to Merrill Lynch, Mr. Ferland was a corporate attorney in New York City.

Mr. Ferland received a dual degree in Common and Civil Law from McGill University, where he graduated with Great Distinction, and an M.B.A. from Columbia University.
