Joe DeFalco is a Managing Director of the Hedge Fund Solutions Group.

Mr. DeFalco has been is involved in performing operational due diligence and monitoring procedures on the Hedge Fund Solutions Group’s underlying hedge fund managers from a business/financial perspective.

Before joining Blackstone in 2007, Mr. DeFalco was an Assurance Manager in PricewaterhouseCooper’s Alternative Investment Fund practice.

Mr. DeFalco received a BA in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he graduated with distinction and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He also received a MS in Accounting from the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and is a Certified Public Accountant.
