James Carnegie Appointed as Senior Advisor to Blackstone in Australia
Sydney and Hong Kong, September 10, 2012. Blackstone (NYSE:BX) today announced that James Carnegie has been appointed as a Senior Advisor to the firm. Based in Sydney, Mr. Carnegie will focus primarily on the firm’s private equity activities in Australia. Mr. Carnegie was most recently a partner with Archer Capital, one of Australia’s leading domestic private equity firms. Before that, his experience included working with Macquarie Capital in its principal investment area.
